BIRDLAND, NYC ~This Thursday, promptly at 6p DUOS With SEAN HARKNESS brings back Will Galison on the chromatic harmonica after a stunning show in June. Each a complete musician in their own right, the chemistry between them is electric. You will be on the edge of your seat as they follow one another around surprise twists and turns through otherwise familiar song selections and some breathtaking original works.

Birdland Aug 2014The Next DUOS will be on August 4 at Birdland with special guest Mike Herriott. Fresh from early July shows at the Toronto and Rochester Jazz Festivals [one of which was filmed for PBS and will air soon], the dynamic duo reunites for more live action and more recording for the FanFunded project: Flights Volume 2.

BWYxGTRThe DUOS concept is exponentially expanded August 6 at 54 Below with the new series Broadway By Guitar [produced by Scott Siegel] where we have 4-6 Broadway vocalists perform songs from Broadway shows with Sean Harkness as sole accompaniment.

ThSausalito 2016e DUO with blues harmonica/vocalist Je Conte of Sausalito, CA [working title: Swamp Therapy – thoughts?] will be on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket islands August 8-13.
